How to choose the right cafe for you!

Not only in Seattle but almost all major cosmopolitan cities have a plethora of great cafes to choose from.  There are a few key points that I follow in order to create an experience with each cup I have:

• Staff friendliness
• Location- Don't drive 20 minutes to get a latte.  Find a great coffeehouse within your neighborhood
• Cleanliness- Some say it might add character but when I order my regular latte, I want to make sure that's all I'm getting
• Atmosphere- Find a place where people are like you
• Quality- Make sure you are getting what you paid for and you are enjoying your treat

It took me awhile to discover my cafe and it's located in my very own neighborhood!  I used to drive to Capital Hill to Joe Bar to get my daily caffeine fix.  Now I frequent Cafe Fiore in Queen Anne.  It's an organic coffeehouse with free wi-fi and a great staff.  

Best Sunset So Far

Seattle Children's Hospital

Seattle's Kiss 106.1 hosted yet another successful phone-a-thon to raise money for Seattle Children's Hospital.  They raised just over $931,000 and it really demonstrates the kindness of those living in the Northwest.  I'm glad I was part of the help by donating what I could and I'm grateful for all of my friends who helped.  This phone-a-thon has inspired me to not only donate money, but also to donate my time to the children in need.  It's little contributions that we all can make as friends that change one kids life forever.  Thanks for all of the support!

Life With A View

To Jump or Not To Jump

Starring Hayden Christensen and Rachel Bilson.  A true action film with an added flavor of travel.  This film tops my list of recent big screen releases.  After the film finished I just wanted to travel everywhere instantly!  Good thing I'm going to Europe next week :)

WOW! What a smile...

Obtaining a clean, white, beautiful smile is not something you can do overnight.... or is it?  Right before bed, I do a simple four step routine that is not even a routine anymore, it's just a habit.

1) I start with a floss.  It's always important to remove any excess food that might be caught between your teeth and flossing also helps prevent gingivitis. 

2) Next I use Target brand Whitening pre-brush rinse.

3) Followed shortly by my dentists recommendation, Fluoridex Daily Defense.

4) Finally I finish off with Crest Pro-Health rinse.

God's Gift To Man

The APPLE iPhone.  In my book, the greatest handheld invention of all time.  I use my iPhone all day everyday.  My main uses are email, iPod (for working out), camera (great steady shots), text messaging, and of course cell phone.  YouTube and Safari (web browser) are also at the touch of a button.  Most people associate the iPhone with trendiness but I find it 100% practical, reliable, and necessary.  To research more information or order on for yourself visit APPLE.

Paris

I'll be visiting Paris for the first time coming up this March!  I'm excited for the clothing, cafes, art, street vendors, crepes, people watching, etc.  I will be sure to share my experiences and photos on here.  Watch for updates.

Vegas
